A-Bomb Doom to Hang Over Bikini For Decades

March 24, 1947

Today in New York, Col. Stafford Warren, M.D., chief of medical and radiological safety of last summer's Crossroads Operation, now Dean of the UCLA Medical School, predicted that Bikini Lagoon and its twenty islands should remain depopulated for decades, at the very least, until radiation returns to safe levels.

Thanks for the positive feedback and for spreading the word, Mack. Much appreciated!

This feeding business is a little new to me, but I know we do have an automatic XML feed at http://1947project.blogspot.com/atom.xml, which I've just added to the the sidebar links. I also signed the blog up at feedburner.com, with the option to translate feeds into various formats, and hopefully that covers most of the bases. If I'm missing something obvious, perhaps a kind, feed-savvy reader will let me know. -Kim

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim. I've added a "Home" link to the sidebar. If anyone knows how to code a blogger title so it's clickable and takes one home, please let me know. Don't want to mess with the template too much!

Tarnation! Okay, the bad link in the sidebar is gone, and anyone seeking the feed is directed to the orange XML button at the upper right of the page. Thanks, Mack!
